The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) has invited Art Briles to speak at their convention this week. The stated goal is to help coaches better understand how to work with sexual assault allegations, investigations, and related situations.
I somehow missed that last month Mac Engel at the Star-Telegram says Art Briles deserves a second chance. The reasoning is because: 1) Everyone else on his staff has moved on to other jobs, 2) He’s a really good football coach who wants to work, and (3) he doesn’t have a job.
