Kansas Jayhawks Basketball Predictions: TCU Horned Frogs

Will Kansas be able to get another road win this early in Big 12 play?

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Championship-Kansas vs TCU Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off a surprising home loss to Texas Tech, and now have to go on the road to a surprising TCU Horned Frogs team. Can KU turn it around and avoid falling back in the Big 12 race?

Fizzle406: TCU has gone from being just an atrocious program to being a front runner for the league title. I hope Girod is taking notes that it CAN be done. Anyway, I think Kansas is going down again. The lack of depth plus the nagging Dok injury spells bad news. TCU 77, Kansas 65

Jakebogen95: Kansas is going to win because I said so. Kansas 79, TCU 68

dnoll5: I’m with Jake. We’re going to win because he said so. For some reason (you know the reasons), Kansas has always risen to these types of challenges in the past, and until they don’t do it, I’m going to predict that they do… but just barely. Kansas 76, TCU 74.

Mike.Plank: There’s no reason to predict a Kansas victory on Saturday. KU’s defense is crap, Dok is having back problems, and TCU’s only loss this year is by one point to Oklahoma (although admittedly their non-con was extremely unimpressive). Still, it’s hard to predict a Kansas loss here because Bill Self teams usually respond pretty well in situations like this. But somehow I get the feeling that this season just isn’t going to go KU’s way. TCU 85, Kansas 75.

Andy Mitts: Sure TCU is a frontrunner, but so is Oklahoma, Texas Tech, West Virginia, and even Kansas. I do think this is a relatively difficult game for KU, but we also said the same thing about the Texas game. This really comes down to whether the Jayhawks can get hot from behind the arc. I think that happens here and Kansas is able to eek out the win. Kansas 83, TCU 81.
