How to Watch: Late Night in the Phog

The first game is still 42 days away, but Kansas basketball gets it going tonight in Lawrence.

NCAA Basketball: Iowa State at Kansas John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

The 33rd annual Late Night in the Phog begins tonight at 6:30 PM and is expected to run until about 9:30 PM.

How to Watch

The festivities are being broadcast on Spectrum Sports and the Jayhawk TV Network, including online streaming on ESPN3. Brian Hanni and Greg Gurley are your hosts for the broadcast. (I’m guessing blackout restrictions in the state of Kansas and the Kansas City metro will apply, but I don’t know.)

As always, admission is free and it is a first-come, first-served, ticketless event.

Once again, adjacent to Allen Fieldhouse will be the Phog Festival (10 AM-3PM), open to the public, complete with a live DJ, food trucks, giveaways, interactive displays, and “much more” according to the official release.

Student doors open at 4:30 PM and the general public doors open at 5:00 PM.

Late Night is also a HUGE recruiting event for Bill Self and the Jayhawks, and you can click here for a full list of the prospects that will be in the house.

It should be a fun night in Allen Fieldhouse tonight. If you can't be there, hopefully you can tune in!
