Kansas football holds biggest scrimmage of fall camp

Joe Dineen’s moustache isn’t the only thing about the linebacker that is gaining attention during fall camp.

Kansas football had its largest scrimmage of fall camp over the weekend, and offensive coordinator Doug Meacham likes the way his offense is handling things.

Mike Lee didn’t lay any big hits during the scrimmage, but says he’s ready to start doing so on Sept 2 (video).

A freshman walk-on DE, Vaughn Taylor, is impressing Kansas coaches in camp and has been mentioned as possibility of contributing right away. He originally committed to Navy.

DL coach Jesse Williams is excited about the players he has at his disposal this year (video).

DB coach Kenny Perry expects to have better depth this year, noting that just two guys, Brandon Stewart and Marnez Ogletree, played most of the snaps at CB last year.

Marvin Bagley will announce his college decision Monday night on the 10 PM (11 EST) SportsCenter. Duke appears to be the favorite at this point in time. A Sea of Blue staff writers predict Bagley will pick USC.
