I know, I know, the podcast is supposed to be on a break while we gear up for the second season, but when SB Nation told us they were going to be diving deep into the 2007 football season, we just had to fire up the ol' recording equipment and join in the fun.
We got enough material here to span several episodes, so we are going to take advantage and test out a new format for shorter episodes that break up longer conversations into smaller, more manageable segments. Since we are between seasons, we'll call this collection of episodes "Season 1.5"
Parts 1 and 2 are coming today for sure, with either part 3 or the first part of my conversation with Carrington Harrison coming later this evening. Tomorrow we will continue this conversation and get to some of Mike's interviews as well.
Today's Topics Include:
Preseason expectations: How would the offense cope with the loss of Jon Cornish? Could the defense solidify the secondary after losing Charles Gordon?
Non-Conference schedule: Kansas blows everyone out. What was memorable about that stretch?
