In former Kansas basketball player news, Wayne Selden signed a two-year deal with the Grizzlies, while Tarik Black was waived by the Lakers. Most analysts expect Black to be picked up by someone, soon.

Benton Smith at the LJW writes that while big things are expected of the Kansas football defensive line, they’ll be backed up by inexperienced linebackers. Maybe this article is coming later, but I’ll also note that (I believe) Mike Lee is the only returning defensive back as well.

In other news from around sports, Dennis Dodd takes a look at P.J. Fleck, the fast-rising 36-year-old head coach who just left Western Michigan for Minnesota a few months ago.

Tom Crean was an analyst on NBA Draft night, and Jim Boeheim is calling him out, saying Crean showed “ignorance” and was unprepared. Predictably, Boeheim is upset about Crean’s comments regarding a Syracuse player, Tyler Lydon, who was taken #24 overall by Denver.

Former Colts WR Reggie Wayne was on the NFL Network recently and told some stories about what it was like practicing with Peyton Manning. Some interesting stuff there.

Apparently there was a boxing match last night (Pacquiao - Horn) and the decision was... controversial, to say the least, with a unanimous decision going’s Horn’s way. A commentator for ESPN even told Horn during the post-fight interview that he lost, calling it “Corruption.”

That’s all for today, folks!
