Over the weekend, Duval told Jason Jordan of USA Today that he was close to ending the madness and announcing his decision.
The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Wyman, KU announced Monday, accepted an invitation from the Kansas City Chiefs to try out at their upcoming rookie camp.
The Jayhawks (22-22, 9-9 Big 12) won the previous meeting on April 4 in Springfield, Missouri, 4-2, and look to sweep the two-game season series against the Bears (30-13, 11-0 MVC) for the first time since 2010.

Shaquille O’Neal bestowed Pierce with "The Truth" nickname when Pierce was in his third year in the league. At Kansas, he didn’t have a nickname, at least one that stuck, but he had a next-level game and left plenty of memories from his three years with the Jayhawks.
"He’s really strong. Out of all the guys I played against, Paul is one of the hardest guys to knock the ball out of his hands. You don’t see him get the ball knocked out of his hands. I’ll cut to the end: He was a great teammate."
The Orioles center fielder says he's heard racial taunts at Fenway before, but never as bad as Monday.
The Broncos are hoping Charles still has something left in the tank. The team plans to meet with the running back on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, and if everything checks out, Charles could have a new home.
