After having more than a week off to focus on finals and graduation, the Red Raiders are back in action tonight as they take on a surprisingly good Kansas team. Coming into the season Kansas was not expected to do so well but currently they sit in a position where a series win in Lubbock or a great showing in the conference tournament might land them in the postseason tournament.

Kansas junior Sharon Lokedi was named the Big 12 Outstanding Female Performer of the Year it was announced by the league office Thursday. The honor marked the first yearly conference award of Lokedi and the third Outstanding Performer honor claimed by a Jayhawk after Paris Daniels garnered the award in 2013 and Candace Mason did so in 1998.
