The Big 12 Tournament opener for Kansas was extremely eventful, as the Jayhawks went down to the wire with the TCU Horned Frogs before losing on a highly questionable foul call with 2 seconds left.
The Jayhawks built up a big lead in the first half on hot shooting from outside. Devonte Graham left with an ankle injury halfway through the first half, but the lead didn't really change before he came back in. The rotation of seldom-seen bench players allowed TCU to get back into the game and even take a lead into halftime.
The Horned Frogs came out hot in the second half, building a double digit less just 6 minutes in. The Jayhawks caught fire to fuel yet another great comeback, taking the lead with about 6 minutes to go. The officiating was a bit sloppy at the end of the game, but at least it was consistently questionable for both teams.
Ultimately, the loss of Josh Jackson was just too much for Kansas to overcome, and while the loss is a bit disappointing, at least the team will have plenty of rest going into the NCAA Tournament next week.
We'll have plenty more on this game over the next couple days, but for now, the comment section is yours.
