Hull and his staff did not shy away from Kansas' recent struggles, with only two wins in the last two seasons, instead, they embraced it.

The boycott centers around Orgeron's handling in the demotion of running backs coach Jabbar Juluke, a New Orleans native and championship-winning coach at Southern University out of Baton Rouge.
“There is no boycott of LSU,” said St James high school coach Robert Valdez. “I did talk to coach Orgeron and expressed my concerns. We had a great conversation.”
