Kansas Football Recruiting Profile: Shakial Taylor signs with Jayhawks

Big CB has already played one game in Memorial Stadium - as a visitor.

Bio

Shakial Taylor comes to KU from Mesa CC in Arizona, but out of high school, he signed with South Dakota State. He played in the KU-SDSU game in 2015 as a true freshman - a South Dakota State victory - meaning KU coaches didn’t have to look around very much for some game film for him. Kansas is losing its top two starting corners, so Taylor will have a shot to get some immediate playing time in KU’s secondary.

Taylor signed back in December, is already on campus, and is expected to participate in spring ball.
