One of KU’s four recruits from the state of Kansas, Gilbertson primarily played left guard for Wichita’s Northwest High School during his senior year. He was an All-Metro selection in Wichita in his junior and senior years. With KU losing just one offensive lineman from the two-deep, look for Gilbertson to provide depth or possibly be a redshirt candidate during his first season at Kansas.
