Kansas mauls Omaha 109-64

Omaha! Omaha!

NCAA Basketball: Omaha at Kansas Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas jumped to an early 20-10 lead by the first TV timeout, and it was off to the races as Omaha never threatened. Kansas built a 26-point halftime lead and cruised through the second half to a huge 109-64 victory.

Svi Mykhailiuk torched the nets on his way to 26 points on 10-13 shooting, including 6-7 from behind the arc. Devonte Graham chipped in 17 points to go along with 8 assists, while Udoka Azubuike hit 5-7 shots for 11 points with 12 rebounds.

All of KU’s starters scored in double figures as Kansas shot an absurd 59.3% from three-point range tonight, meaning they probably didn’t take enough threes.

Up next, Kansas will travel to California to take on Jerod Haase and the Stanford Cardinal in the return trip of a home-and-home on Thursday, Dec 21, at 10 PM Jayhawk time.
