Kansas athletic director Sheahon Zenger is really hoping for a big win by Kansas basketball so that everyone will forget about the trainwreck that is KU football. Tonight, the Jayhawks head to Chicago for their seemingly annual matchup with Kentucky - although technically it’s their triennial matchup with the Wildcats in the Champions Classic.

Kentucky is currently ranked #7 in the AP Poll and is coming off a 73-69 home win over Vermont.

Kansas is currently ranked #4 in the AP Poll and is coming off a 92-56 home win over Tennessee State.
