Devonte Graham was named preseason Big 12 Player of the Year by the league’s coaches.

ICYMI, one of the biggest breaking stories yesterday was that Kansas and Missouruh are in talks to play an exhibition basketball game with proceeds going to charity (hurricane relief). The question is, is it a part of a bigger movement to get the schools back to playing on a regular basis?

5-star PG Devin Dotson is expected to make his college choice sometime today.

Joel Embiid and the 76ers practiced in Allen Fieldhouse yesterday afternoon prior to their exhibition game at Sprint Center this weekend.

Kansas basketball officials maintain that the school has not yet been contacted by the FBI regarding the college basketball recruiting scandal. KU officials have come out against the story that ran in the UDK the other day, with associate AD Jim Marchiony saying the following:

What you’re asking about is essentially an inflammatory Tweet that references a story with no real news in it. For example, the Kansan wrote that the presence of documents appears to contradict what Kansas Athletics has said. That’s just inaccurate. All we’ve said since news of the investigation broke was that we had not been contacted by federal investigators. The FBI’s response to the Kansan doesn’t change that.

Gary Parrish at CBSSports writes more about the scandal, saying that defendants won’t be able to say that what they did wasn’t a federal crime.

We’re getting to the point now where it’s just wait-and-see as to who will flip first as the investigation continues.

Benton Smith reports that it doesn’t appear as if coaches are ready to go to Carter Stanley, and that Peyton Bender may still be your starting quarterback.

It looks like Jesse Newell has finally stopped drinking the Kool-Aid as evidenced by his score prediction for KU-Iowa State.

Dear Kansas Football: Win and they will come. THEN you can build it.
