So just realize there actually is no shortlist for Jackson, when it comes to where he needs to impact the game for the Jayhawks (14-1 overall, 3-0 Big 12).
Give the current Jayhawks credit for both recognizing the significance of Saturday’s 2,200th win and for having the respect to realize it’s not in any way about them and only them. Nevertheless, he carries himself with plenty of poise. In a similar fashion to the way Lance Thomas (quite the role model for reserves looking to cement their niche and respective value) plays, Baker is someone who can find ways to contribute while playing alongside higher profile players. All of this also adds up to a player like him handling pressure well, too. He certainly has the respect of his teammates.
