Kansas travels to bluegrass country to take on the Wildcats of Kentucky The Hatfields and McCoys will not be in attendance.

Kansas (18-2, 7-1) is currently ranked #2 in the AP Poll.

Kentucky (17-3, 7-1) comes in ranked #4 in the AP Poll.

Kentucky is coached by John Calipari, who is 234-50 in his 8th season in Lexington. Calipari is 637-188 in 25 seasons overall, with previous stops at UMass (one Final Four vacated) and Memphis (one Final Four vacated). His official career record with the NCAA is 620-185.

Bill Self is 4-3 against Kentucky while at Kansas.

The Jayhawks swept the most recent home-and-home series with Kentucky back in 2005 and 2006. While not technically a home-and-home arrangement, KU won last year in Allen Fieldhouse.
