KU’s previous road wins came at UNLV (ranked 194th in the nation by KenPom.com), TCU (KenPom’s No. 32 team) and Oklahoma (73rd at KenPom). Based solely on those numbers, Kansas winning at Iowa State (23rd) qualifies as the team’s best victory since defeating Duke (11th) at New York’s Madison Square Garden in November.
For the most part, it was the barrage of boos the Iowa State fan base sent toward the floor that accounted for Monday’s noisiest moments. But each time ISU appeared poised to make a run or found a way to hit a big shot, the sound explosion reached levels unlike any the current Kansas team had heard this season. And Kansas coach Bill Self loved every second of it.
“Frank just has soreness. (He) shouldn’t miss any time in practice,” Self said in a text message to The Star on Tuesday night.
The Jayhawks were tested at Iowa State but still won, because that's what they do.
After starting the Jayhawks’ final three games as a redshirt freshman, this is a crucial offseason for the young quarterback. Montell Cozart graduated and Ryan Willis is transferring to Virginia Tech, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be competition for Stanley.

Additionally, the strength and conditioning coach will no longer report to Taggart, but to a director of sports science. Workouts for the football team have also been modified.
Of course, Rider should have been there to greet him. But as you can see in the video below, they went straight to the locker room. The chippiness from the fight coupled with the loss obviously didn't sit well with the team. But Patsos walked the length of the entire bench to make sure he got to the imaginary players too.
