Kansas looks to open up its new and improved Air Raid assault on the 2016 campaign in the season and home opener for the Jayhawks.
The Jayhawks are 0-0 and sit in first place in the Big 12.... oh wait I used that joke last year... and the year before...
Anyway, today's opponent is the Rams of Rhode Island. They are one of the worst teams in the FCS and invade Lawrence looking for what would be a huge win for them with which to jump-start their program. Rhode Island has not fared well against other FBS programs recently, losing 47-0 to Syracuse in 2015, 48-7 to Marshall in 2014, and 48-8 to Bowling Green in 2012.
