Kansas heads to the Lone Star State riding a 39-game losing streak away from the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium. That streak includes three neutral-site matchups.
KU is 1-2 on the year after falling to Memphis two weeks ago. Meanwhile, Texas Tech is 2-1 after surviving a shootout with Louisiana Tech.
Texas Tech is led by McDreamy Kliff Kingsbury, who is 21-20 overall in his fourth year as the head coach of the Red Raiders.
A lot of folks expect the Jayhawks to get run out of Lubbock quickly in this game. The Kansas defense has shown some fight this year, but haven't seen an offense anywhere near the caliber of this Texas Tech squad. If KU is going to compete, the Jayhawk offense is going to have to pull its weight tonight. That means, among other things, maintaining possession and playing keep away from the Red Raiders in addition to putting points up on the board.
Rock Chalk y'all.
