Former Kansas Basketball G Wayne Selden signs with the Memphis Grizzlies, won't play in Summer League

The ex-Kansas guard has inked a deal with the Grizzlies, the same team fellow ex-Jayhawk Brannen Greene is playing for this summer.

The Memphis Grizzlies just got themselves a very athletic guard in the form of former Jayhawk Wayne Selden.

Selden is only 21 years old; he bypassed his senior year at Kansas to pursue a career in the NBA. Unfortunately due to a knee injury suffered during his pre-draft workout, his draft stock plummeted causing him to go undrafted. Selden has since taken his time to choose which team to sign with while he rehabbed his injury.

The Grizzlies signed the 21-year-old guard yesterday according to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders.

Unlike his former teammate Brannen Greene, Selden will take no part in the NBA Summer League but he hopes to be ready for training camp.
