Greatest Kansas Football Players Bracket: Bruce Kallmeyer vs Trevor Pardula

Bruce Kallmeyer vs Trevor Pardula

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

These are the last of the kickers in the bracket, I promise.

(22) Bruce Kallmeyer

Kallmeyer actually may be one of the best players in Kansas football history that you've never heard of.  He suited up for KU from 1980-83, and by the time he left school, he was the school record holder for career field goals made (since broken by Dan Eichloff).  However, Kallmeyer still holds the record for field goal percentage, hitting 53 of 69 in his four years, good for 76.8%.

He was named first team All-Big 8 and first team All-American his senior year of 1983, when he hit 24 of 29 field goals.

(22) Trevor Pardula

Pardula came to Kansas from a JUCO, punting for KU for two years, 2013-14.  In those two years, he hit 167 punts (that's A LOT), averaging 44.0 yards per punt.  He was named first team All-Big 12 in 2014.

And, of course, he gave us this, which is an absolute gem.  Someone feel free to post the GIF in the comments below.
