Diallo Selected No. 33 in NBA Draft

"I was surprised Cheick didn't go in the first round based on preliminary reports I got," Kansas head coach Bill Self said following the draft. "The big thing is he was able to go 33 and that will hopefully put him in a position to sign and get a guaranteed contract."

The $9 million, indoor-outdoor, state-of-the-art facility will join Kansas' soccer, softball, and track and field stadiums at Rock Chalk Park. It is expected to open for competition this fall.

Track & Field - Five Jayhawks to Compete at USA Junior Championships

Five freshman members of the Kansas track & field teams are set to take part in the USA Junior Championships to be held at Veteran's Memorial Stadium in Clovis, California June 24-26. The top-two finishers in each event at the meet this weekend will earn a spot on Team USA's squad that will compete at the IAAF U20 World Championships to be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland later this summer.
