Kansas Basketball player Wayne Selden undergoes knee surgery

Selden is reportedly on track in recovery and will not pull out of the NBA draft.

Back on March 29, Wayne Selden declared for the NBA draft, saying that:

It has always been our plan that my college experience would be three years. I plan to hire representation in the coming weeks.

According to a Yahoo! Sports report, Selden recently underwent a procedure to repair a "small meniscus tear."  It is also reported that he played with the injury through the latter part of the season.

Selden is reportedly on track in his recovery and rehabilitation, and will still participate in interviews and medical exams at the combine.  He will miss individual workouts and basketball drills at the combine, however, Selden plans to schedule individual workouts with NBA teams "soon." currently projects Selden to go in the second round, #50 overall, to Indiana, while currently projects Selden in the second round, #44 overall, to Atlanta. has Selden ranked as the 51st-best player overall and 6th-best small forward.
