Hawks edge Celtics in Game 1, but this series has seven written all over it -
The Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics played the best Game 1 of Saturday's NBA playoff slate. It was a spirited affair that saw the Hawks dominate the first half before a brilliant Celtics third quarter -- where they outscored Atlanta 31-21-- brought them into the lead in the fourth. However, Atlanta responded and held on for a 102-101 victory to go up 1-0 in their best-of-7 series.

Steph Curry sprains right ankle, questionable for Game 2 on Monday -
After Stephen Curry tweaked his ankle in Game 1 vs. the Houston Rockets on Saturday, he went to the locker room several times. He did not start the second half and missed the final two quarters, despite trying to talk coach Steve Kerr into returning. The Warriors announced that Curry was "available" to return, but Kerr and the staff, with Golden State cruising by more than 20 points, wisely elected not to mess around with it, and sat him.
