Kansas (26-4, 13-3) currently resides at #1 in the AP Poll. The Jayhawks are coming off a VERY impressive 86-56 road win over Texas in Austin.

Iowa State (21-9, 10-7) comes in at #21 in the AP Poll. The Cyclones are coming off a 58-50 victory against Oklahoma State in Ames.

Iowa State is coached by Steve Prohm, who is in his first season in Ames. Prohm is 125-38 in 5 seasons overall, with his only prior head coaching experience at Murray State.
