If the sun did indeed rise today, which I doubt, there's still two more games to decide this weekend. Both North Carolina and Virginia appear to have a pretty wide open path to Houston. Will Syracuse or Notre Dame offer any resistance?
Virginia knocked off Syracuse in their only prior meeting this year by a 73-65 score back on January 24 in Charlottesville.
North Carolina and Notre Dame played twice this year, with each team winning once. Notre Dame won in South Bend on February 6 by an 80-76 score. North Carolina returned the favor with a vengeance in the ACC Tournament, taking out the Irish 78-47 on March 11.
