Kansas (29-4, 15-3) currently resides at #1 in the AP Poll. The Jayhawks are coming off a 70-66 win over Baylor yesterday in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament.
West Virginia (26-7, 13-5) comes in at #9 in the AP Poll. The Mountaineers lucked past Oklahoma yesterday in the semifinals after a buzzer beater by Buddy Hield was waived off.
So here we are. The title game features the top 2 seeds in the Big 12 Tournament who split the season series, each holding serve at home. Kansas won the league by two games, however, you know West Virginia will call themselves "Big 12 Champions" should they emerge victorious. Bragging rights are on the line.
