Big 12 Tournament: Thursday Open Thread

Discuss the evening's action across the country with fellow Jayhawk fans as it unfolds.

Conference tournaments across the country are in full swing this week.  We at RCT are particularly interested in the Big 12, where tonight's games feature the Cinderella TCU Horned Frogs facing off against 2-seed West Virginia, and nationally ranked Oklahoma and Iowa State facing off against each other in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament.

Early Big 12 games today saw Baylor knock out Texas, 75-61, and Kansas punch out K-State, 85-63.  Neither game was particularly close, so, hopefully the games tonight will be a little more entertaining.

Across the country, most of the major conferences are in action, as well as a plethora of the so-called mid-major and low-major conference tournaments.

No automatic bids are on the line tonight.

OU-ISU is the only matchup where both teams are ranked, but #4 Virginia, #5 Xavier, #11 Miami FL, #12 Utah, and #24 California are all taking the court tonight, and all should be on upset alert, because March, baby!
