Kansas and Kansas State meet this afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament at Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
Kansas State (17-15, 5-13) is coming off a 75-71 win against Oklahoma State in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament, while Kansas (27-4, 15-3) enters today's contest off an 85-78 win over Iowa State back on Senior Day. (The Jayhawks had a first-round bye in the conference tournament.)
K-State needs three more wins to make the NCAA Tournament, while KU merely looks to solidify its resumé for the #1 overall seed (and keep a rival down, of course).
