The Jayhawks have a lot to prove this week even though they enter their next two games as the #6 team in the country. This week is HUGE for Kansas, as they have two Top 10 matchups waiting on them.
Villanova took over the top spot for the first time in school history; muddled as though it may be, #1 is still #1. Including both polls, seven different teams received at least one first place vote. Meanwhile, Kentucky is somehow still ranked.
In the Big 12, #6 Kansas travels to #3 Oklahoma on Saturday, but first must host #10 West Virginia on Tuesday. The Big 12 is also represented by #14 Iowa State, #21 Baylor, and #24 Texas.
