Kansas (17-4, 5-3) currently resides at #7 in the AP Poll. The Jayhawks are coming off a 90-84 home win over Kentucky in the Big 12/SEC challenge.

Kansas State (13-8, 2-6) comes in unranked. The 'Cats are coming off a 69-64 home win over Ole Miss in Manhattan.

K-State is coached Bruce Weber, who is most well-known for following Bill Self wherever he goes. Kidding. Kind of. Anyway, Weber is 75-46 in four seasons at Kansas State. Weber is 388-201 in 18 seasons overall (including 89-16 with Bill Self recruits). Prior stops include Southern Illinois and Illinois.

KU holds a 188-93 advantage over K-State in the all-time series, which includes an 86-35 record in Lawrence and a 45-18 mark in Allen Fieldhouse. K-State has won two of the last three overall matchups, but KU has won the last nine straight meetings in Allen Fieldhouse.

Bill Self is 24-5 all-time against K-State, including 23-5 while at KU.

Since 1994, Kansas has won 49 of the last 54 meetings against K-State. (But before that the two teams were basically even. NOT.)

Kansas is working on a 35 game home court winning streak, the fourth-longest streak in KU history.

The Jayhawks now hold the longest active streak for consecutive weeks in the AP Top 25 thanks to Duke falling out of the most recent rankings.
