Kansas knocked off two Top-10 opponents last week, including a Top-5 team on the road, and for their efforts they were rewarded with lots of #1 votes and #2 ranking in both major polls.
Villanova remained in the #1 spot with 44 first-place votes, but KU is right on their heels with 21 first-place votes of their own.
Other Big 12 teams in the AP Poll include #3 Oklahoma, #10 West Virginia, #13 Iowa State, #24 Texas, and #25 Baylor. Texas Tech is receiving votes in the Coaches Poll.
