Kansas finished off their season yesterday with another hard-fought 5-set match win against Baylor to clinch the top spot in the Big 12 conference. That earned them an automatic bid to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament that starts December 1st on campus sites. Unfortunately, it was not impressive enough to the selection committee to earn one of the top 4 seeds in the tournament.

It is extremely likely that they are one of the two seeds in their regional, but we still don’t know which 1 seed they will be paired with, nor in what region they will be placed. But we do know that Kansas will get to host the first two rounds of the tournament and will be a heavy favorite to advance to the regional sites.

Personally, I find out extremely ridiculous that Texas received the 1 seed over the Jayhawks, but I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

You can watch the release of the full bracket shortly on ESPNU. The selection show starts at 8pm CST. Don't forget to check out our live coverage of the selection show.
