Self, as you’d expect, didn’t make a big deal out of the injury when asked about it. Yes, Lucas has been held out of some drills in practice. And no, Self said he didn’t have the insight on the injury like Lucas or trainer Bill Cowgill would.

With little warning, LSU announced Saturday morning a scheduled press conference for 1 p.m. ET at which it will announce its new head football coach. Moments later, The Advocate's Ross Dellenger reported that interim coach Ed Orgeron will be hired as the permanent football coach.

Charlie Strong will reportedly be fired at his scheduled Saturday morning meeting with Texas administration, according to Sports Illustrated's Pete Thamel. Texas is expected to immediately move its focus to Houston coach Tom Herman to replace Strong. The Longhorns plan to meet with Herman and his agent, Trace Armstrong, "as early as Saturday afternoon or evening," according to Chip Brown of Horns Digest.

Despite the loss Arizona showed resilience to make it a close one after falling behind by as many as nine points with under 14 minutes left in the second half. The Wildcats put together a 17-2 run to tighten things up, before Butler closed it out in the final minute with a dunk followed by four free throws to push it to a 69-65 final.
