Iowa State makes the long, arduous trek to dangerous Lawrence, KS, in what i sure to be a capacity crowd for a big-time college football game.
All joking aside, this actually is a pretty big game for both teams, as they both enter with identical 1-8, 0-6 records. Both teams are looking for their second win of the season, and both teams are looking for their first conference win of 2016.
Kansas is coming off a 48-21 beatdown at the hands of West Virginia in Morgantown last weekend, while Iowa State enters fresh off a 34-24 moral victory over Oklahoma.
Speaking of moral victories, ISU has four so far this year (Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Oklahoma) while the Jayhawks only have one (TCU).

ISU is coached by Matt Campbell, who is in his first season in Ames. Campbell 36-23 overall as a head coach, going 35-15 in four seasons at Toledo.
Kansas finds itself approximately a 10-point underdog to the mighty Cyclones. Will this be Carter Stanley's coming out party, or will it be more of the same from the KU offense regardless of who is under center? I can't wait to find out!
Rock Chalk!
