Kansas hosts the Oklahoma State Cowboys on KU's Homecoming weekend. The Jayhawks are 1-5 (0-3), on the year with their only victory coming against FCS Rhode Island. KU is coming off a 49-7 shellacking at Baylor.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are looking to not lose anymore more ground in the Big 12 race. OSU is 4-2 (2-1), and looking to stay within striking distance if when the undefeated teams in the Big 12 begin to fall. The Cowboys are coming off a Bye week; prior to that, they had a come-from-behind 38-31 home victory over Iowa State.
Oklahoma State is coached by Mike Gundy, who is presumably still a man even though he's not 40 anymore. Gundy is 98-49 in 12 years as a head coach, all at OSU.
The Cowboys are 24-point favorites over the Jayhawks. Part of that is because Kansas leads FBS in giveaways. If Kansas is going to keep the score respectable, the turnovers must stop.
Let's see if we can't make this Homecoming a memorable one.
Rock Chalk!
