Kansas (16-4, 5-3) currently resides at #4 in the AP Poll. The Jayhawks are coming off an 85-72 come from ahead loss to Iowa State in Ames.

Kentucky (16-4, 6-2) comes in ranked #20 in the AP Poll. The 'Cats are coming off an 88-54 annihilation of Missouruh in Lexington.

Kentucky is coached by one-time Kansas assistant John Calipari, who is 206-42 at Kentucky in his 7th season with the Wildcats. Calipari is 651-182 in his 24th season overall. Prior stops include UMass and Memphis, with a stint in the NBA at New Jersey. His Final Four appearances at Kentucky have yet to be vacated by the NCAA.
