Kansas Men’s Basketball Garners NCAA Public Recognition

Kansas was one of 39 teams to be recognized for achieving Academic Progress Rate (APR) success in the top-10 percent of all NCAA Division I men's basketball programs, the national governing body announced Wednesday.

2016 NFL Draft: Kansas Preview -

Since the 2011 NFL Draft, Kansas has had four players drafted, including three from this past draft class. As Kansas begins a new era with head coach David Beaty, the Jayhawks have a very young roster and don't have any All-Conference players returning to Lawrence, losing double-digit starters from last season. There will be a few seniors for NFL scouts to track this season, but the bulk of Kansas' talent won't be in the 2016 class.

Golf - Kawinpakorn Named to 2015 WGCA All-Region Team

Kawinpakorn had a stellar junior campaign in which she broke her own KU single season per-round average record with a 73.6 average. Kawinpakorn had previously set the record with a 75.4 average in 2012-13 and surpassed that with a 74.5 per round average in 2013-14.

To make the feat more impressive, Alvarez's home run should have landed in the Allegheny River, which surrounds the outside of the park. We say "should have" because the ball actually landed in a boat parked in the river.
