Eubanks signed with Baylor over finalists Pitt, Missouri, Florida and Wichita State his senior year at Our Savior New American in Centereach, New York, where he was a teammate of KU signee Cheick Diallo. Prior to that, he played three seasons at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida.
Malanga chose KU, which offered a scholarship in February, over growing interest from BYU, Utah and Missouri. He joins 2016 Mansfield, Texas wide receiver Braylon Royal, who committed to Kansas in late April. Both are two-star prospects, according to Rivals.com.
Between recruiting, returning to Texas to see his family and touring the state to drum up interest for his new program, Kansas University football coach David Beaty has spent a lot of time on the road since being named KU's newest football coach.
Kansas swimming and diving head coach Clark Campbell announced Gabe Downey, a Kansas City native with extensive junior, high school and club-level coaching experience and who has served as the Jayhawks' interim diving coach since January, as KU's head diving coach Monday.

Per al.com, the Alabama House of Representatives passed the so-called "Tim Tebow Act" last week, which would allow home-schooled students in the state of Alabama to play for their local public high school teams. Tebow famously played for Nease High School in the Jacksonville area despite being home-schooled.
