As you know, Ben Heeney and JaCorey Shepherd are the former Jayhawks most likely to get drafted in the April 30-May 2 draft, which will take place in Chicago, but there are more than a few other guys from last year's team who figure to get their shot.

Jo Jo White Inducted Into Naismith Hall of Fame

White donned the Crimson and Blue from 1966-69 under the direction of head coach Ted Owens. An All-America selection in 1968 and 1969, White was a three-time All-Big Eight Conference honoree and KU's Most Valuable Player for three-straight seasons. The Saint Louis native scored 1,286 career points, which still ranks 29th all-time at Kansas.

The De Soto, Texas native concluded her collegiate career in the Crimson and Blue as the 27th Jayhawk to score over 1,000 career points. She amassed 1,516 points in her four-year career, which is 12th all-time in Kansas women's basketball history.

Baseball - Jayhawks Return Home To Face Lobos in Midweek Action

After an eight-game road swing, the Kansas baseball team returns to Hoglund Ballpark for a 10-game homestand, starting with a two-game midweek set with New Mexico, April 7-8.

Duke wins its fifth national title with 68-63 win over Wisconsin -

Duke claimed the 2015 championship trophy with a 68-63 win over Wisconsin. It gives the Blue Devils program and its Hall of Fame coach, Mike Krzyzewski, five national titles. The win puts Coach K at second all-time for championships in men's basketball; UCLA legend John Wooden holds the record with 10.

Dave Bliss, former Baylor Bears coach, hired as coach at NAIA's Southwestern Christian University

Southwestern Christian University, which is located in Bethany, Oklahoma, confirmed to ESPN that Bliss will be introduced at a 3 p.m. news conference Wednesday.

After an exhilarating postseason run last year that ended with a Game 7 loss to San Francisco in the World Series, the Royals got off to a fast start in 2015. Alcides Escobar and Mike Moustakas, their first two hitters, went a combined 4 for 7 with two walks and scored five runs. Moustakas homered the opposite way in the fifth off Samardzija.

Torii Hunter rips umpire Joe West after dubious check-swing call -

Not only that, Hunter complained, but West didn't ask the first-base umpire for help, which is common on check swings, particularly borderline ones. He just took it upon himself to end the ballgame. Still seething during postgame interviews, with comments that surely will result in a fine from Major League Baseball for criticizing an umpire, Hunter ripped West for not doing his job well.
