2015 NFL Draft Profile: Trevor Pardula

Trevor Pardula might - might - hear his name called during the 2015 NFL Draft.

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

Trevor Pardula transferred to Kansas after two seasons at De Anza College in California.  He's been KU's punter for each of the past two seasons.

2014 Stats

83 punts, 3,673 yards, 44.25 Avg, Long of 72

10 touchbacks

18 fair catches

24 inside the 20-yard line

29 punts of 50+yards

41 kickoffs, 13 touchbacks, 56.7 Avg

Pro Day/Combine Results

Height/Weight: 6'4", 227 lbs

Hands: 9 1/2 inches

Arm length: 32 5/8 inches

Strengths

Has a big leg with the ability to change field position with deep bombs and big hang time.  Shows nice touch with putting the ball inside the 20.  Willing tackler when the situation presents itself.  Left-footed punter presents an added challenge to returners due to the 'reverse' spin.  Can kick well into the wind.

Weaknesses

Will have the occasional mental lapse on the field.  Will shank the occasional kick.  May outkick his coverage.

Prediction

Pardula is rated as a Top-7 P prospect by multiple scouts and mock drafts.

Look for Trevor to go in Round 6 at the earliest, and should hopefully hear his name called sometime before the end of the draft.  As of 4/27/15, Drafttek.com was not projecting Pardula to be drafted.

Expect him to be picked up shortly after the draft as an undrafted free agent (UDFA).
