The Jayhawks are 24-6 (13-4) and coming off a 76-69 overtime win vs West Virginia in Lawrence. Kansas currently stands at #9 in the AP Poll.

Oklahoma comes in ranked at #15 in the AP Poll with a 20-9 (11-6) record. The Sooners are coming off a 77-70 loss to Iowa State in Ames.

In the prior matchup this season, Kansas defeated OU in Allen Fieldhouse by a 85-78 score. KU led by 19 at halftime, but OU outscored the Jayhawks 46-34 in the second half. Kelly Oubre led the Jayhawks in scoring that day with 19 points. Perry Ellis added 16 and Cliff Alexander put up a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Buddy Hield led all scorers with 26 points that day.

Ellis and Alexander are not available for the Jayhawks today.

Kansas is 142-65 all-time vs Oklahoma. KU leads the series 50-41 in games played in Norman. KU has won 13 of the last 14 matchups with Oklahoma and is 21-5 versus the Sooners since the inception of the Big 12 Conference. Bill Self is 14-2 versus OU while at Kansas.
