Iowa State vs Kansas Open Thread

The Jayhawks are 26-7 (13-5) and coming off a 62-52 win against Baylor on Friday evening in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament. Kansas finished ranked #9 in the final regular season AP Poll.

Iowa State comes in ranked #13 with an 24-8 (12-6) record. The 'Clones are coming off a 67-65 win against Oklahoma in the other Big 12 semifinal Friday night.

In the prior matchups this season, the two teams each held serve on their home floors. Iowa State took an 86-81 win in Ames and Kansas won an 89-76 affair in Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks are 177-61 all-time versus Iowa State. Bill Self is 21-5 versus the Cyclones while at Kansas. Since Fred Hoiberg's arrival in Ames, five of the last nine meetings have been decided by nine points or less with two of those in overtime.
