If you'd like to get yourself reacquainted with TCU, here is the preview before our first matchup with the Frogs and here is the preview before our second matchup.

The Jayhawks are 24-7 (13-5) and coming off a 75-73 loss to Oklahoma in Norman. (Or, they're coming off a win against that crummy 'Bye' team in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. It's however you want to look at it.) Kansas finished ranked #9 in the final regular season ranking in the AP Poll.

TCU comes in unranked with an 18-14 (4-14) record. The Frogs are coming off a 67-65 win against Kansas State in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament last night.

In the prior matchups this season, Kansas squeaked past TCU by a 64-61 count in Fort Worth and kept the Frogs at bay by an 81-72 score in Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks are 9-1 all-time versus TCU with two of those matchups on neutral floors (1952, 1997). Bill Self is 7-1 versus the Frogs while at Kansas.

Per KUAthletics.com, today's quarterfinal contest will mark KU's 291st game played all-time in Kansas City, and its 32nd in Sprint Center. KU is 25-5 in Sprint Center including winning the 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2013 Big 12 Championships in the venue and the 2012 CBE Classic.

Kansas has won 14 conference tournament titles, including six of the last 10 and nine of the 18 total Big 12 Championships. Since the Big 12's inception in 1996-97, Kansas is 17-1 in its first games, 16-2 in the quarterfinals, 10-6 in semifinals and 9-1 in championship games.
