Kansas takes on its second Patriot League opponent of the season in Allen Fieldhouse tonight with a matchup against the Crusaders of Holy Cross.

Kansas currently resides at #2 in the AP Poll and is coming off a 75-69 win against Harvard, a game that was much closer than many expected.

Holy Cross is unranked and holds a 3-5 record so far this year. They are coming off of an 88-84 OT loss to Albany.

KU and Holy Cross have met three previous times in their histories. The Crusaders won the first matchup in 1949, while Kansas won twice in 2002, once in March and once in November.

Holy Cross is coached by Bill Carmody who is in his first season with the Crusaders. Carmody is 287-250 overall in his 18 years as a head coach that also includes stops at Northwestern and Princeton. Holy Cross is a member of the Patriot League, where they were picked to finish 8th in the 10-team league in the preseason media poll.
