Kansas is 0-8 (0-5) after dropping a 62-7 decision to Oklahoma on Homecoming in Lawrence last weekend. The Jayhawks were never in the game against the Sooners.
Texas comes into the game with a 3-5 (2-3) record. The Longhorns are coming off a 24-0 shutout at the hands of the mighty Iowa State Cyclones. Prior to that, they handled K-State in Austin in a 23-9 win.
Texas fans are suddenly concerned about their football team after last week's debacle in Ames, however, they don't seem to be overly concerned with Kansas. And in fairness, they shouldn't be. KU hasn't won away from Memorial Stadium in their last 36 tries. The Jayhawks are struggling to move the ball and struggling to stop anyone on defense.
Last week's result basically guaranteed that the Longhorns won't overlook KU. Seeing Kansas on the schedule is the perfect prescription for a team when they're struggling, and Texas will likely attempt to take out their frustrations from last week out on the Jayhawks this week. Can KU do anything to stop them?
Anyway, it's almost gametime, so you know what that means:
