In the first exhibition game of the 2014-15 season, Kansas defeated the visiting Pitt State Gorillas 89-66.
Perry Ellis led all scorers with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Frank Mason and Carlton Bragg added 14 points each, while Hunter Mickelson chipped in 10. Devonte Graham added eight assists.
The Jayhawks only went 4/19 from behind the arc. They also had a bad night from the free throw line, shooting only 15/26. Kansas outrebounded Pitt State 55-45.
If you live outside of the state of Kansas (and the Kansas City metro area), you were able to watch the game on ESPN3. (The rest of us will have to catch it on replay if we so desire.) Let us know what you saw out of the Jayhawks tonight - what you liked, what you didn't like, what went well, who looked good, etc.
I know it's "only" an exhibition match, and the first one at that, but, what did you take away from tonight's game?
