Kansas is 0-9 (0-6) after dropping a 59-20 decision to Texas last weekend in Austin. The Jayhawks had a chance and were keeping it a game late into the second quarter, but couldn't get out of their own way and were overwhelmed after halftime.
TCU comes into the game with a 8-1 (5-1) record and a #15 ranking. The Frogs are coming off an embarrassing 49-29 loss courtesy of Oklahoma State last weekend in Stillwater. Prior to that, TCU crushed West Virginia in Fort Worth in a 40-10 win.
TCU is clinging at the edge of relevancy in the 2015 college football playoff conversation. Kansas, once again, appears as a sight for sore eyes for a contending team attempting to run the Big 12 gauntlet. KU's struggles this year have been well documented, as has the Jayhawks' road losing streak. KU hasn't won away from Memorial Stadium in their last 37 tries.
Once again, the 'Hawks are facing a team coming off a disappointing loss. Last week's result basically guaranteed that the Frogs won't overlook KU, and may in fact be looking to make a statement, even if it is "just Kansas." KU has actually been fairly competitive with TCU since they came into the Big 12. Will they be again?
Anyway, it's almost gametime, so you know what that means...
