C'mon college football. I thought you were better than this. One week we get 10 amazing matchups and the next week we get nothing. Well, Oklahoma against Baylor isn't nothing, but it's the only really compelling game of the weekend.
I sifted through the top 25 games this weekend, and with the exception of the aforementioned game, Temple at South Florida, and Utah at Arizona, none of the betting lines were less than a touchdown with twelve games involving top 25 teams favored to win by double digits. Now, I know it's sports, and anything can happen. And yes, college football seems to be downright top heavy this season, but would it kill the schedule makers to have a little foresight and schedule a good game sometime before the 7:00 PM CT time slot? Sheesh.
And since all the European soccer leagues are on international breaks this weekend, I can't even recommend that you use your morning and afternoon wisely by watching the Premier League, Bundesliga, Seria A, or La Liga. Who makes this schedule? The answer: people that want me to rake leaves, that's who. Jerks.
So, without further ado, here is a list of games that you can watch and they are ordered by closest current Vegas spread.
